In 2007, when deeply under the influence of Hegel, i wrote this extended meditation on Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit in which i imagined what the research process in education would look like if it followed a similar path to Hegel’s dialectic. In 2012 I wrote a paper linking Bernstein to the IChing and presented it at the Bernstein Symposium at Aix en Provence. It uses the IChing logic as a vehicle to produce possibility states in curriculum and pedagogy. The Ichingness of Bernstein
